Our children face a huge challenge. By 2050, many bacteria that cause infections will be resistant to all available antibiotics. As a result, we are no longer able to treat the infected, killing more than 10,000,000 people yearly.
The current use of antibacterials accelerates the development of antimicrobial resistance.
