Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease caused by the Eimeria species and often causes damage in the gut of the chicken. Due to the fact that Eimeria species are not present by nature in poultry, there’s always a certain pressure and therefor risk of clinical problems and as a result impact on technical results. The goal of Coccidiosis control is to lower the pressure in the flock and surrounding, so impact is minimized and controlled. In this webinar, we will further discuss the impact and solutions regarding coccidiosis. How to prevent big infestation but also how to cope with a direct big infection.
Controlling coccidiosis is a year-round plan for a broiler farm, otherwise, it’s a constant wave of infections trough the farm. Planning and control on coccidiosis bring structure, predictability, and therefore more value.
